School Committee · Meeting of July 14, 2026

Lee School Committee clears roughly $600,000 in warrants and touts a new EV-charging grant. Chair Langlois led the July 14 virtual meeting, where the committee approved $412,494.76 in accounts-payable warrants and $187,106.89 in payroll warrants, both on 4-0 votes with member French abstaining after a family member appeared on one warrant. District staff reported 646 students enrolled, including 43 kindergartners, and said Lee was awarded grant funding, about $39,000 and $28,000 for the two schools, to install EV charging stations, to be timed with a planned repaving project.

"So great work by Bonnie Fahey and her team," staff said of a summer meals program that has served more than 1,500 meals. The district is still recruiting for a pre-K teacher, a grades 4-5 teacher and several other openings.
