She is survived by her children Maureen Soules, Barbara Abderhalden (Scott), Joseph Brighenti (Kristen), and Charles Brighenti (Tonya); grandchildren Jeanne, Jason, William, Eric, Scott, Justin, Sadie, Dylan, Derek, Torie, and Julia; nine great-grandchildren; niece Monica; nephew Mark; and friend Sandra Cummings. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, 140 Main St., Lee. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 222 Pecks Rd., Pittsfield. Mary Jane Hopkins, 74, of Lee, died July 2, 2026. She was predeceased by her parents Arthur Wheeler and Carol Wheeler of Lee, and her husband John. She is survived by her sons Michael and Jason, her brother Art Wheeler, her aunt Beverly Spence, and many nieces and nephews.
