Lee deeds show wide price gap as few July sales disclose price

The Middle Berkshire Registry of Deeds recorded 14 property transfers in Lee from July 24 through August 22, but only two disclosed a sale price: $30,000 for 13 Academy St. and $463,200 for 100 South Prospect St., yielding a median of $246,600 among disclosed sales. Twelve transactions listed no price, several involving Lee Bank, NBT Bank NA, Pennymac Loan Services LLC or Greylock Federal Credit Union as sellers, and two involved the town of Lee. No two sales shared a street. With price disclosed in only 2 of 14 deeds, the data does not support characterizing the period's market conditions beyond the transactions recorded.
